The Grinder

Hey, volunteers! Visitors will enter the Haunted House through the back area of the Writing Center called the Deep Freeze. After the Deep Freeze is the Butcher Shop, which is the front area of the Writing Center. When visitors enter the hallway, they have entered the Human Meat Grinder!

There are two available roles in the Grinder: Butchers and Grinders. The "Butchers" will greet the visitors at the opening part of the Grinder. These "Butchers" will essentially keep the visitors in a temporary holding area, along with preparing them to enter the Grinder. The "Grinders" will be unseen, hidden actors behind black plastic "walls" for the sides of the Grinder. When visitors walk through, "Grinders" get to squeeze the walls in, forcing the visitors to try to run and escape. The ceiling also becomes lower by the end of the Grinder, so by the time visitors reach the end they will be crouching. At the end of the Grinder will be more Butchers who attempt to grab any surviving visitors, chasing them down the Exit Hallway and out of the Haunted House!
