Hey, volunteers!
The final thing you have to do to volunteer for the Haunted House is to complete Safety Orientation. SAFETY ORIENTATION is MANDATORY, even if you are not working directly with the visitors on the nights (Thursday, October 27 and Friday, October 28) of the event.
Watch the brief videos below, paying particular attention to your
area of the Haunted House. When you are done, also read the Safety Orientation
document sent to you via email, sign the last page, and turn it in to the team
in Writing Center (SCLC 0106).
The Haunted Forest
In this video, you will
learn a bit about performing as a Haunted Forest Creature in the lobby area of
SCLC, and how to keep performers and visitors safe if you are part of Boo
Crew.

The Deep Freeze
In this section you will
learn about performing as a Popsicle in the back area of the Writing Center or
as part of the Scream Team, as well as how to keep performers and visitors safe.
The Butcher Shop
In this section you will
learn about performing as a Butcher and/or a Captive and how to keep everyone
safe. The Butcher shop is the front area of the Writing Center. Visitors will
enter the Butcher Shop AFTER they go through the Deep Freeze. Because this is a
highly physical and demanding area, there are a lot of safety concerns.

The Grinder
The Grinder is the last
attraction in the Haunted House. In this section you will learn about your role
as a Grinder or Butcher working with the grinder attraction, or working as
Scream Team in this area.
