Hey, volunteers!
If you are working in the back area of the Writing Center, you are a Person in Black or a Paranormal. After visitors get out of the hallway loop, they will enter through the back door of the center. Think of this area as the storage area of the fallout shelter. There will be boxes stacked to our fake ceiling, and lots of canned goods, blankets, and other typical shelter items.
Paranormals in this area will be freaking out and panicked, rather than aggressive! They will be hoarding supplies trying to survive. You can hide under tables and even walk the rows to scare visitors. Paranormals will have at least Level 2 makeup, which means lots of blisters, red skin, and even bloody vomit! You will interact with the visitors, though you should think more panicked than aggressive.
We also need People in Black for this area. These actors will be hiding under tables and chairs and manipulating small objects. For instance, you can push off a box or two behind the visitors to freak them out, or send cans across the floor in front of them. You will be unseen but play a really important role because you can help with how fast or slow visitors move through the back area of the Writing Center.
